WCSC Achievements and Awards
Weston Creek Soccer Club won the
Capital Football Strategic Development and Planning Recognition Award 2010 –Award accepted by Donna O’Brien, President WCSC on behalf of the exec.
Team Awards
- 5 out of 8 women’s teams made the Semi Finals. One made and won the grand final.
- 4 out of 7 men’s teams made the Semi Finals. Two teams made the Grand Final, with both narrowly missing out on the day.
- Although missing out on the Grand Final, these two teams: Men’s Division 2 and Men’s Masters Division 1, were both crowned League Champions.
- Men’s Masters Division 1 League Champions
- Men’s Division 2 League Champions
- Women’s Masters WCSC Rebels won back to back in all competition’s, including:
- 2010 & 2009 - League Champions
- Minor League Champions
- Preseason – Vicki Baxter Diplomacy Trophy - WCSC Rebels (team included players from WCSC Rebels, WCSC Xena’s and two Brindabella players)
- Women’s Masters Xena’s came second in the Premiership, and made the Semi-Finals.
- Julie Murray Shield – WCSC U/18’s Preseason Winners
